Gonna Post a Picture?
With Thanksgiving approaching, and more holidays just around the corner, on-line greeting cards, pictures and graphics are beginning to appear on group pages, in profiles, in messages, etc.
I've been monitoring pictures posted to this group (only) and find that many of them are OVERSIZED. Please follow and adhere to the following paragraph contained in the WARNINGS section of the group's home page:
Be sure to RESIZE all GRAPHICS, WIDGETS, MUSIC BOXES and PICTURES to avoid overlapping! Check and review COLUMN WIDTH LIMITS in the FILES section of the HTML WORKSHOP.
The MAXIMUM WIDTH OF ANY PICTURE OR GRAPHIC POSTED ON GROUP PAGES SHOULD NEVER EXCEED 375 PIXELS IN WIDTH and recommended width is no larger than 350 pixels.
There are a multitude of FREE RESIZERS on the Internet...for a complete list, CLICK HERE!
Please remember the resizing rule when uploading to your profile, or onto someone else's profile page...be nice to your fellow members (particularly those on dial-up connections...and there are many).
Profile photo/graphic/video/widget/banner sizing data can be reviewed by CLICKING YOUR MOUSE HERE!
If you do not have Acrobat 6.0 installed on your computer (required to review the above document), send me a message via my profile and I will forward the measurement requirements to you...You should probably also install Acrobat 6.0 if you don't have it...it's free and will come in handy for you during your Internet travels/activities.
