We always save our seed, and also participate with Seed Savers.

I would be interested in the Roma seeds you have, hippie -- for next year.

Let me know if there is something specific you want -- maybe I will have it to share! We work hard on getting true varieties and heritage types (not hybrids); and are working on developing a few of our own types, as well.

We've planted Bushel Gourds for the first time this year. I'll let you know how they turn out.

redbud, you have my chickens on your profile. where did you get them?

i would be happy to send roma's, but i will send them from this years crop. they are fresher that way, the older seeds may not "hatch" anymore.

i have gourds to, but they arent liking the weather this year. by now they should be several hundred feet in length already. this is the first year i have tried them with my own seed.

the giant broccoli are truly giant. i made the mistake of putting 3 in one barrel. and then covering it with fencing and tool to keep out the whiteflys, and its a comedy. they are huge, and screaming for space.

i am presently working on spinach and parsely seeds, for the fall. i find the flat spinach works better early on, and the curly later. we'll see with the fall crop.

so if any of these are wanted, let me know, and i will start sending in the fall.

just pm me, and i can get the address thing going.

I am certainly interested but don't have much to swap since I haven't gardened for the last couple of years due to health issues. I am looking for a vining okra not to be mistaken for the luftha gourd that my grandfather got from a buddy who came home from WWII with seeds from Europe & Japan. I have some of the old blue morning glories that should still germinate & will have cypress vine in a couple of months.

Where we are in TX things are already burning up, even with water the heat has just fried the leaves on my basil & fire ants got two of my four tomatoes. ~jackie~
