Pissed or Compliment?

What would you do if a group you belong to used a picture of your's as their group picture? Don't you think they should have asked you if they could use it? Would you be pissed or complimented? Would you say something?

It might have been an honest mistake. Being the next picture in succession. That happened to me once. Try asking the moderator to change it to something different.

It actually happened to me. I was not notified or asked. The first thing I thought was "Hey, that's me! Cool!" I happened to really like the photo and you couldn't actually identify me. I was feeling pretty complimented. Then I checked and realized I was the only one who had posted a photo there. ^_^

But then again, I am perhaps too open. I don't have much fear in life. I've never had a stalker. I might be a little dangerous myself, and I have a BIG dog.

I don't have fear, I just think they could have asked first that's all...:)

If I were in the mood, I would probably PM whoever is in charge and say how flattered you are...blah...blah, but surprised you were not notified or asked. At this point, nothing you can do about it but might help if you asked they post their criteria or notify people before they assume it is okay. On the other hand, depending on my mood...I might just say to hell with it...and let it go!

If the person who did it is like me - i copy pics all over the place and never remember where i got them.

Was it just a picture that belonged to you - or one of you personally?

I agree with Whims, many things are copied all over the web and most times we don't know who originally "owned" them. Only once did I come across something that was copy protected. I assume everything else if fair game.
