Interest in community

Hi,
I've been interested in the concept of intentional communities for quite some time. I was exploring the website www.ic.org right before logging onto EONS. I was thinking about starting a group when I discovered yours. Although I have lived communally in the past and presently rent out a few rooms in my house in Oregon, intentional communities seem very appealing to me. I believe in organic gardening and alternative energy. I also feel in this fast paced world, it is refreshing to know that there are people who believe in working and creating community where individuals genuinely care for one another.

Hi - I just joined this group and am browsing . . . seems like there is not too much discussion going on . . . lots of posts with no replies.

Just wanted to say I am also interested in this subject and have studied it a bit. I live in California, and would love to learn more from people also exploring the concept.

Hi Seek and Accept,
I posted on Intentional communites quite some time ago but I think I accidentally removed myself from group. While browsing through the groups today, I came across your message. I am seriously looking for a co-housing intentional community. I googled and found hundreds of communities both in this country and abroad. Now to decide what it is I am looking for. I know for myself I need a warm climate- tired of the grey and rainy winters in Oregon and also warm friendly people. What have you discovered?

Wow! I had no idea eons had been aroundt his long. I just saw it on the tube last night & signed up this morning!
WELL there are al ot of like mids out there YAHOO. You have a personal invitation to join me & my sister in Baja , Mexico. If you want, we can meet up north, maybe meet in Davis, mid way btwn, our homes. My full tim ehonme w/ hubby is in El Dorado COunty, off Hwy. 50. I'm spending most of my time solo in Baja looking a property. We have that in common too. I'm a broker & do both r.e. & loans. Look for my website post after. Aug. 15th. Read my earlier post to DUH hi. Hang in there , all the positive self talk is what you need & what will work. This is YOUR time in life & you need to be reminded & practice what you love about your true self.
