bicep curls

I have been doing bicep curls and wanted to know why you suggested hammer curls. I am seeing results but want more results. I need your advice.

Do both routines. There is more than one muscle in the bicep.

It is just a variation, some movements will isolate the target body part, other movements will include more than one muscle of the target body part, they are call "Compound Movements", like a deadlift, because it works all of the major muscles and some of the minor muscles in the abs and lower body.
But, just remember its just a variation of a movement.

I love weight lifting and have been doing it since about 1962. The more angles you work your biceps the better. Why try other bicep routines? If you can think of a way that works any muscle, then do it. A pumped up muscle makes me feel more alive.
