Are you getting a flu shot?

Just curious everyone. Is everyone all about getting this flu shot or what? We just got them in our area and would like to know what you think, pro or con...Lonestar1.
Actually, maybe I'm crazy, but I've never gotten one, and I can't remember the last time I had anything more than a minor cold, and I don't even get those very often.

I got a flu shot yesterday for the first time in my life. I'm working at a hospice and it was recommended since I'm around a lot of sick people.

I actually haven't gotten sick for about 10 years. Whenever I feel something starting to come on, I get out the Super Echinacea and chase it away. I just keep taking it whenever the bad feeling starts to come back and after a day or 3 it's gone for good.

The last virus that came through our house was powerful so I got some stuff that had elderberry and zinc in it also as those things are supposed to be immune boosting. It worked. Verna

I have gotten a flu shot every year for the last eighteen years. You could say, I think they are important. Even a small flu leaves you more susceptible to other ills, and there are enough colds going around that I want to use my immunity on.

I haven't gotten a flu shot for years, probably won't this year either. Been lucky. Rarely get cold symptoms. Let's see how I do this year.

My 75 year old mother is skipping her's this year, too. Last year right after getting the flu shot and two other innoculations she got very sick and her blood pressure became erratic. She attributes it to those shots. It took several weeks for her BP to settle down, her MD put her on BP meds which seem to make the situation worse. Her BP didn't settle down to normal until she stopped the BP meds.

We get flu shots every year about this time.... They do work for us, but we still caught colds and the annoying sore throat/coughs that go with colds.... That is until about 2 years ago we heard about Mangosteen/Xanthones, the amazing juice supplement! It is the only juice supplement that we found really works. We have not had so much as a sniffle since we started taking what we affectionately call the "juice!" Learn about it by going to this website: www.mymangosteen.com/bestjuice4U

I've never gotten one either. I live in FL and last year (or maybe the year before) we had no flu shots. Everyone was extra careful, washed hands regularly and disinfected in between (wipe off shopping cart handles, use antibacterials any time you may have touched something) it seemed fewer people got sick! I'm going the same route this year. I have a grandson with Autism and none of us are getting any kind of shots.
