My Mother is 95 and in a nursing home but when you were on Dr. Quinn, we watched every time you were on and were both fans. Now, I watch you on Dancing With The Stars and think how beautiful and full of love and talent you are. We wish you luck in all you do. Your son's are both so handsome. We like to see pictures of them clapping for you.

Your post about your mother's memorial service was wonderful.

I do have to ask one thing at the beginning of Monday's DWTS when the dancers where introduced you mouthed "Thank You". I felt that it was to all of us in this group! Even my husband noticed it. I did start crying -- but they were tears of gratitude that a important personality as you are could take the time to thank us.

Hi Jane, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. I can totally relate to what you're feeling right now as I also lost my mother 3 years ago but I wasn't as fortunate as you, because a few years before she passed on we were estranged. I was living with my mom and we were very close, maybe too close and I met a man and we started dating and it then becames serious, he was simply wonderful to me, treated me so well like no other man ever had and we were totally in love and I decided to live with him. My mother took it like I had chosen him over her(which of course I had not) and became almost a different person and wanted nothing to do with me from then on. It was horrible as I loved her so much but nothing I could say or do would change her mind and I never got to see her again so at least you were close with your mom so that makes it alittle easier for you. My thoughts and prayers, and my heart have been with you constantly these past couple of weeks--even more than usual. (We've met a few times, so I feel sort of like "an older sister" to you.) Each time you appear on Dancing with the Stars, I just feel so proud of you for following your dream. And I just know how proud your mother is too! Your dancing brings tears to my eyes every week, and I can't wait to see you and Tony waltz! With your grace and elegance....it's going to be breathtaking!

My whole family passed away at an early age. So be gratefull for the time you did have w/her. You will come to learn this & appreciate your mom even more if that's possible! It is. Greif has it's stages so be prepared. There is no way ar'd them. The best thing for you to do is what you are doing. Dance, Dance & learn how to dance so you can bring it in to your life forever. You are one of the blessed ones. Not that you don't deseve all you have earned You have & that is why you are so good at what you do. I can't wait for you to make a Dance DVD to show us how you have learned. I own the Dancing w/the Stars DVD & it is hard. Yours needs to cater to us over 50 since you know this & you can teach us. You go girl! We are behind you all the way!
