Being HSP and the Shift
Most of the folks who identify with being HSP are so only in a fairly limited way. Being HSP is nearly nullified by one's left brain attributes. Left brainers are concerned with left brained cultural attributes and think with little true depth. They simply cannot penetrate the left brain barrier.
The left brain is only a tool and not a way of life. The right brain provides sensory freedom which can be modulated by the left brain, to live in a left brained society.
Being HSP requires a nearly total paradigm shift to the right brain to the extent that you can move outside of time itself, which is a function of the left brain.
The implications of the shift are truly mind boggling. Humanity and culture must go through this shift of consciousness in order to survive as a species.
Left brain resistance is due to being rooted in a left brain culture and economy which seems compelled to see the right brain shift as a threat that would totally wipe out an economy based on power and limited resources, which will happen if the human race is to survive as a species.
I call being right-brained as living a "hippy" lifestyle in my profile about me. The word hippy is used here as an analogy. It means shifting out of the left brained dependency. The left brain is a tool and not a way of life. When we are ruled by the left brain we are enslaved to it.
The left brain suppresses all of our other senses whereas the right brain enhances them. The left brain is the root of latent inhibition. As the right brain struggles to be free one experiences attention deficit.
Most HSPs are locked into the struggle and finally surrender to the left brain.
HSPs use their left brain to guide their understanding of social consensus rather than reality. Reality itself cannot be grasped by the left brain alone, if at all. We just happen to live in world where the dominant culture is left brained and is rooted to the illusion that only the left brain can interpret reality. That is the illusion.
