it is a great group.we had a few dissapointments.i hope it can get back to what is use to be.also i would like to say i see the same thing in many groups where people post and they get no replies.i do hope people will pick up interest again now that summer is almost over.

Summer is over and now maybe there will be more action. I am not leaving, just want to know how to make things pick up.

I was one of the ones that left but I am back now and hoping to see it come alive again without so much stuff going on! I like happy groups and this was a VERY happy group once and I think it will be again!!
I've been around a little over a month and I guess I'm guilty of not replying. I look at the numbers of the group and feel intimidated by them. I think to myself, well everyone knows everyone and if I post I will just get ignored. And I'm not saying I am being ignored because some of my posts have been replied to. I'm happy to hear that this was a great group and it is coming back to life because I sure would love to be a part of it. There is nothing like sharing great memories.
And by the way, I'm Jo, not Teresa. I'm working on getting my sign in name changed. Long Story. LOL
The idea is to post a memory and then others who also remember the thing or activity that we knew in our youth will reply.
I'm new Teresa and so far everyone has been so very nice. I read through all the things that happened and I wish that the old owners would be back. This place was swinging with them here. Too bad that some people just don't know to mind their business. But it's a new day and everyone is nice and let's all just have a great time. I know that a lot of people left in support of Violetdove, and it's nice that they are coming back. I like this group and it is and from the looks of it was even happier a while back.

I'm new to the group also, but, I avoid it most of the time because of all the garbage at the beginning (big pix, videos,ticker tapes, etc.). You have to go to the second page to get to the members posts and replies. I'm still on dial up so it's just not worth the trouble.
As a web designer I found the page very helpful for people who are not that well acquainted with how to do things. As for the picture, maybe it represents something special. I personally enjoy the video and the links. Someone went to a lot of trouble to do that. However if someone is bothered by it, and 750 people seem to enjoy it and must find some use for it. If I don't like something, I just don't look in that direction and answer questions instead or post them. Have fun, that's what life is about.
