hello everyone,
my question is "How do you carry your computers with you and get your service where ever you go....I had a friend who use to spend about $100 each time she moved just to get a quick telephone hookup to her camper....usually it would take two to three days to get the phone line....in the mean time, she developed a severe case of email withdrawal. hee hee.
anyway, i'm still on dial up, and was needing to know what to do before we hit the road again.

OH MY that is terrible. I use to use Mobile Office link and I would hook my cell phone up to the cell phone and get online but that got old and I knew if my cell phone went out that they were not offering this anymore. SO I went into Verizon and got one of those cards and I put in the devise so I could hook up my desk top through that well that only lasted an hour and I ran back to Verizon and said you can take this back I can't get out with this so I went back using my cell phone TILL this past summer while we were in PA I went into the Verizon shop there to see about getting a new phone and they it was the new hook up for wireless connection. I told them what happened before and they guaranteed this would not happen with this new wireless hook up and guess what they were right. It is called USB720 and it was 99.00 but I got a 50.00 rebate and it plugs into your USB port and you don't need anything special alls you need is a USB port. I did get an extra external antenna and the adapter to go from the USB antenna to the external antenna and then you put the antenna onto the window of your RV. OH MY I get online using Broadband and it is wonderful. I don't have to go anywhere and I don't have to get my lap top out and head up to the campground office I sit in my RV in my PJ's or what ever and I am on the internet with no problem. This is wonderful. I told Verizon I need to advertise for them LOL
