I think part of the lure Of Jersey is the long boardwalks, the ocean , the miles and miles of shops and fun places to eat along the boardwalk, The richness of it's History and it's people. The facinating sunrises on a boardwalk at dawn, and for me, my people. My ancestors for hundreds of years where born and lived their whole lives there and died there. The decendants, most of them still there. It is HOME with a deep love of it being home. And once you've lived in Jersey, you don't really want to leave and those that leave always wish they could come back. It hold it's own special magic. It sure has put a spell over me.
Taylor, you have put it well. There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish to be back in my home state. I have lived in Florida for a long time now but it is not home. I never think of myself as Floridian!!!!!
The state has so much variety of things to offer.
I always feel sorry for the people who travel thru only on the turnpike-they see only some of the lesser attractive sites.
If they would explore they would find so many wonderful things. As I am writing this I am getting so home sick, I can't stand it.I need to think about a trip home soon-this is a great time of the year up there.

Yes Dee....he used to play at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park....he would come into my brothers restaurant in Bradly Beach...that was a long time ago and just before he hit it big.....if I had only known that then...lol...oh well
Yeam that's where I saw him but of course it was before he was big too, had no idea who he was. I saw twisted sister there too-many moons ago.

Jersey rocks because of the many super rock stars we have, but also we have great places to visit. Between Cape May and NY there are plenty of Jersey places to go, especially the beaches and boardwalks. So many of us have memories of grand times. What rocks you about NJ?
New Jersey rocks because of the fabulous shopping malls & factory outlets :-)
