Guess I feel a wee bit lonely here. Have we all moved on? Life does get busy and I haven't been bellydancing. Has anyone been actively pursuing?

I am here, there and about. Trying to find music and come up with costumes for both a Hawaiian theme for a senior living center and the next night do a ME restaurant gig.

I'm performing this weekend in Lincoln, NE at Benu's "Out of the Box: A Tribal Rapsody." I'm one of three featured guest artists. Really looking forward to it.
Otherwise, the Kansas City Renaissance Festival starts Labor Day Weekend (WOW! NEXT WEEKEND) and we're all busy out there for the next seven weekends.
September 22nd I co-teach "Hips and Drums" with my best friend Siham Ali (Kansas City's top belly dance teacher and workshop/seminar sponsor). Siham's seminar is October 19, 20, & 21st featuring Raffa. I can't wait.
THEN I'll think about getting my workshop series in place for the rest of the fall--maybe. Definately for the spring semester.

I'm dancing! The final dance event I attended (didn't perform) was in Lincoln, NE at Tribal Dreams. I drove up with a group of ladies from the Kansas City area for the Saturday Showcase. Saturday, Kathe Alkoudsi of "Cartouche" (Middle Eastern Dance supplier lives here in Lawrence) had an open house and I went over. She's a GREAT cook! Also, I bought one of her designer/exclusive, guilded tuxedo coats. It's maroon with gold threading. Otherwise, I'm saving my money for the Jim Boz, Princess Farhana cruise in FEBRUARY!
