Networking and Jobs

The website I recently discovered (re. found online)is www.grayhairmanagement.com

At first I thought it might be yet another one of those bogus websites but the info I read sounded sincere enough that I decided to take a look. I've seriously gained a little better insight into job searching and career changes as it associates to the "gray hair" population by reading their email newsletters.

I retired from non-profit medical management in 2003 to care for my aging parents and subsequent to their deaths, the finalizing of their estates. Now that I'm ready to re-enter the workforce boy have the times changed! Check out the website if you're interested in networking with other "gray hairs" concerning all types of job opportunities. Its the networks that get us places!

If anyone needs a top-notch general manager (or knows someone who needs one) feel free to contact me directly. I'm looking for a satisfying position in the NE US so I can move closer to my family. I'm all about the work and not the title.

Hi Runs! Welcome to the group. Gray Hair Management has been around a couple of years and initially garnered a lot of press attention, but I've not seen as much on them lately. I agree...networking is a great way to get a foot into someone's door. Make sure to post your resume (free service) on www.genplususa.com as recruiters head over there to look specifically for 50 plussers with experience. As well, if you have not already done so, make sure to post your resume on Monster, Careerbuilder and any other free resume posting service you can find. Also make sure to stop by my blog (http://genplus.blogspot.com) where I have hundreds of posts on finding a job at over 50. Best of success and visit here often!

Thanks GenPlus! I have indeed added my resumes to the genplususa.com website. I've listed on many other career websites and am finding the experience quite an education in itself. And thanks for the wish for success. I'm hoping to find something soon. I've been out of the big leagues for a bit and am excited to get back in the game! Fingers crossed! :)

Think outside the box! If what you have been doing is not working then you need to do something diferent. This is working great for me. I have been in it for two months and only work it a few hours a week. I'm already making money/profit weekly and it goes up every week. I'll be making 6 figures residual by the end of the year at the latest. I'm a contractor and know traditional business well. I'll never start another traditional business again. For once I did what wealthy people do. I stepped outside the box and opened my mind.
Better health and wealth!!!
