An Apple A day...

No, I'm not going to tell you about the doctor who will stay away. Harvard University investigators found that women who ate an apple a day were 28 percent less likely to develope type 2 diabetes then women who ate none.

The study evaluated 38,018 healthy women and followed them for an average of 8.8 years. The researchers concluded that although high intake of antioxidents from fruits and vegtables and other foods may not prevent type 2 diabetes the link with apples could not be ignored.
