It would be nice to meet artists living in the neighborhood to exchange ideas and hear about events.
I am an avid painter. I take oil painting classes, all kinds of work shops and participate in group shows.

Hello, sorry I am not in Maryland, but was born there. I have been looking for artist groups here in Georgia (Atlanta Area) and find none on this site. I too have been taking classes and having just a great time. What type of painting do you do? (landscapes, etc...?)Perhaps we could share ideas. I have been working on several paintings of late, all different in type. Stretching my wings so to speak.

Hi Shutterbug, I paint mainly in oils, sometime acrylics, but definitely prefer oil. I also shortly tried pastels. Take a look at my w-site view link
