Been a long time coming.

Today I head to the breast surgeon to have her explain my mammograms and ultrasound to me and tell me if I need to get a biopsy. I wish this wasn't so dragged out.

Things with Mom are really going poorly too. I think the combination is a wee bit too much stress right now.

Hoping for some good news this morning at the Dr.

It went as expected by me. I am on antibiotics for the enlarged lymph nodes, which signal some infection in the body. Then I will have more follow-up on them.
Left breast suspicious area will be biopsied in day surgery on the 30th. I will be having a mammo done during the biopsy to locate the spot and a pin inserted so they biopsy the right area and a repeat mammo after to see if they got the cluster. Then the report will be 5-7 days with the either cancer or non-cancer and follow-up to continue depending on outcome.

Kathy - I had the same type of thing done years ago. I had a small lump they did a biopsy and mine was non-cancer, but the Dr. want to take it out, just to be on the safe side.

The waiting process is rough, I can relate to that.

Thanks Lynn....funny, Dr can feel no lump and neither can I. It may be in the ducts. Quack-quack :)))
