Sometimes. But it has to be a goal I REALLY want to achieve.
is it something that u were afraid to do ? butt u did.. ANYHOW ?
like a fear of flyin.... or of heights... butt climbed the mountain...
anyway.... of was it more like me.... challenging myself... to speak
to the female the killed my husband.... becuz i "HAD" too....to move
forward...in my life ?
The fear of being alone was my biggest obsticle but i have moved ahead in that field
I have faced fear. Taking control and being 'parent' to my parent- wondering if I was doing the right thing. Facing the fear that a severe illness will claim the life of my child- and perhaps I will raise my grandchildren. Facing fear is never easy, and there is a price to pay- but there is much to be gained in the doing.
i kno... that's can sometimes be a very challengin one
Dr.T. butt once u overcome it..... there's a whole new
existence... an kind of freedom for u..... i'm so happy
u were able to conquer that fear......

You know my biggest fear, poco. The thunderstorm! I have tried all my life, to get over this. Every summer i say i will not be scared, but i always am. I have fear of dying in a thunderstorm.
poco..You have done so well and i wish i was that brave. Anthomy..I also have the fear of being alone.
I have many fears but these two are the worst.
All my life i've been a person who confronted fears head on, much to my mother's dismay. Claustrophobia has been overcome. The only thing i fear at this point really is something horrible happening to my children or grandchild. That would be a challenge: getting on with life afterwards, i think i would but i hope it's not tested.
It sounds like most of us have found ways to face our fears. Even you Momsfirstgirl, because you still live where you have deal with your fear. There are places with few T-storms.

I have various fears: fear of being lost, fear of snakes, fear of not being able to take care by myself, fear of hospitals and now the latest fear is flying airplanes....Some of them I have managed to control, others like fear of snakes, I just can't!
My biggest phobia is getting shots--I had a couple of bad experiences with those as a kid, and I can't even watch someone else getting a shot without a twinge. When I have to get one these days, I watch the ceiling and try to distract myself as best I can.
