I am waiting for one of those spring rains of 1 inch to rinse the salt off the roadways, then I will get my bike on the road again but not before.

Definately need that if I want to ride by 14th.
I am still here and no bike yet, the guy has not returned my calls or money, will have to take him to small claims court and see what happens. :(

Yep still here will ride in March if I can find a new front tire.
Had to take the beast in last week for front brake repair and new tire. Got it Saturday afternoon and rode on the windy beach road yesterday and did my errands today.
Doing what we do. Waiting patiently for first day above 40 to start the season.

Tomorrow is supposed to be fine for riding, but I can't. Going to a Yellow Ribbon Campaign Ceremony for my son who is about to deploy to Iraq. If I was going alone, I'd go on the bike, but I'm taking my lady friend and it's a semi-dressy affair, so that's not conducive for her to ride a motorcycle. Hope we have another pretty day soon.
We had rain last week to wash the roads and a beautiful day today sunny and nearly 60. I stayed in and did the taxes. What was I thinking?
I've managed to get a few commutes in between the rain we've been having. Daggone rain has been happening on the weekends, so no chance to really get out and ride. At least I have that half hour each way to and from work to keep me semi-sane. Got a long ride coming up in about 3 weeks, about 420 miles one way. Heading from L.A. to Chandler, AZ for a Star Touring & Riding event.
Only sorry to have missed the 42" snowfall. Would have had a ball!
