Favorite 'Back in the day' groups, music?

I saw a post in another group asking for favs from the 70's In that particular group it seems to be the platters and other dreamy-type croon groups won hands down. But my favorites from the 70's was the group Chicago and singer James Taylor. They are still favs along with Eric Clapton. Some people just get better with age ;-)

Anyone else have favorite music from the 70's?

There are just too many to name..... I remember going to a concert to see The Righteous Bros. down in Wildwood....
Also saw The Beach Boys, in Ocean City, Maryland. Waaayyy cool !

Oh my gosh, this could go on forever; Frankie Vallie and the 4 Seasons, one of my favorites, Beach Boys, some of the Beatles songs, Elvis, Jan and Dean. Ok, some others weigh in here.
