Finally, tonight is my first meeting with the Red Cross Disaster Relief team. I am looking forward to this, a new chapter in my life.
Keep us updated on this, Boss. I am interested to see what changes/updates have been made.
Now, that being said, I'm giving fair warning that the Garymeister, BossMan, Dorfus Farkletush, various other aka's, is in deep dew dew! Wear blinders?
Well, maybe that is a good idea... As long as you bring your own, I guess it's ok... lolol hugs all

Hi all, I like these chat cafes or whatever each is called. Nothing much going on here. I see where that pesky groundhog saw his shadow so bad news about the weather. It must really be a regional thing as he would not have here in North Texas. We are to get more rain. One of the toll roads, named George Bush Turnpike (after the elder pres) was having mud slides in one area. The retaining wall is giving away. I didn't think that we had that much rain. That sounds like California, the mudslide capitol.
Hope you all have a good day and don't think about those wintry days ahead. Oh, GJ, I hope that the Red Cross works goes well for you.

Good Morning everyone--well we are getting more rain this weekend-which is a good thing for us here in the desert...sure do like the idea of a cafe-just to pop in and say hi....and I can always drink a cup of coffee...
No shadow here, we had about 3 inches of snow, short winter for us, yes!
Mudslide in Texas!!
Mudslide in Texas!!
Hello, everyone. The snow that fell this morning has disappeared. Sorry for all of you that have experienced deep snow, blizzards, mudslides, etc. I don't know if I can wait six or more weeks for spring to come. I'm getting antsy now. . .I'd like to take a road trip. But, most likely, that will not happen as I am going back to work on a part-time basis. I'll be working on a special project for Nationwide Insurance. It's basically the same job I had before I retired. The money is good and I will only work three days a week. Maybe. later on, I can work from home. If so, then maybe I can work in some kind of trip.
