Whooo Hooo!

I finished the scarf made with the 'mistake' lace weight yarn from the Natural Dye Studio in England. It is really beautiful and doesn't need to be blocked. I will post a pix as soon as I get the camera battery charged.

I decided that trying to learn the new pattern for crocheting hats is taking too long and so I am cheating and knitting simple ribbed stocking caps. This is good in many ways. First is takes way less yarn. I can knock out a hat in about a day. And best of all, I have fallen in love with the 'magic loop' method of knitting in the round. Imagine no more double point needles. Just lovely.

So now all I have left to do for Christmas is 2 hats and the coasters for Scott.

WHOOO HOOO! for you getting all that done. I'ce necer used the'magic loop' method always the dpn'. The dog (puppy chewed up the tip of my new socks, so now i have to rip so they are even and stick the needles in and remake. I'm still knitting on my grandaughters sweater. Almost to the bottom ribbing and then i'll be just like you WHOOOO HOOOO. I'll do the socks after Christmas. They were mine. No matter how early i start Christmas always comes quickly and the pressure is on..........I wish all my friends Happy Holidays. Bumbi
