That would be fun to see. I love finding unique things like that.
Yes, you should stop and look at the murals. I am adding it to the list of things I want to see next summer on my tour of Missouri.
Hopefully next summer I am going to travel parts of old 66 that I can in Missouri and go see the things in MO that I haven't seen yet.
Cape Girardeau has murals painted on the river wall. They are more of a history of MO.
Great idea.
We camped new Cuba several years ago. I would also like toi see more of MO; especially since I am a transplant.
I'll chime in here - Cuba is close and my grandson plays football over there some, so I have seen some of the murals. The whole town is full of them, and there are also a couple of interesting restaurants there - Frisco's, right next to the railroad track, serves good burgers, etc; and Missouri Hick, east of town, is reknowned for its barbecue. Wouldn't it be fun if several of us could descend on Cuba at the same time???
I think that is a great idea. Lets keep it in mind for sometime next summer.
Sounds like a great idea!
Summer is good - warmer, anyhow!
I've got my faucets dripping tonight, and it looks as if we aren't going to get above freezing for the next week
Update: We drove through part of Cuba on the way to St. Louis Tuesday. Too cold to get out and check things, plus was in a hurry. The ones we saw simply are marvelous. I definitely want to go back. Want to stop at the history museum too.
Oh yeah, I forgot that. Not sure what the hours for the museum are but that should be easy to check out
I am getting exciting about a trip to Cuba this summer---something to look forward to during these very cold days.
