What Really Pisses Me Off

are people who take a friendly forum and make it a political rant.

Some of these are borderline and we don't usually close them unless we get a few complaints. One went way off track and I left it alone.

I don't understand why political posts and replys are allowed on this site. I have read some notices by, I assume, moderators pointing out that political posts were not appropriate here. I objected to Eons management recently about a political post here, but was told that it did not violate Eons terms of conduct. The reply said that I should contact the moderator. Well, if the moderator is reading this, I object to Wellinformed attempting to turn this into a personal political site.

No bestgirl, I've rather enjoyed watching Wellinformed proving that he's actually illinformed.

Myself I usually try to work to the maxim that its better to be silent and to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove any possible trace of doubt.

The beating to death of Climate Change is getting rather annoying...

Meant to add and accidentally hit the post key: Could the mods at least ask him to keep it to one thread?

I am not very religious, but there is a great point in the Bible where it says

"Do not Judge, so you will not be Judged".

If everybody minds their own business and does not complain about everybody else's posts whenever it runs contrary to their "orthodoxy", this would indeed be a more quiet group.

The restriction to non-political posts is really impossible to apply.

If I am pissed off about wasting a trillion dollars in stupid stimuli with the broken promise that this waste of a trillion $ woudl bring unemployment down to 8%, and instead it skyrocketed to 10.2%, is this about "politics" or "the US Economy"?

Same with climate change, and the third world blatantly attempting to EXTORT $100 billion a nd more from the so-called "wealthy" nations to help them reduce their emissions. And if anybody has any idea about GROSS Corruption in the Third world, you k now that not one DIME of that $100 billion will go towards that, the $ will end up in the Swiss bank accounts of their dictators.

There are non-political posts here that I don't care about, but I am not protesting their writers right to post them.

Since politics and government give us so much to be pissed off at, isn't this really an excellent site to post them.

The ones which piss me off are the people who routinely post to say "Good Morning" or Good Night".

I think that often times there is a fine line between politics and what pisses us off...in fact there isn't a line at all come to think of it, politics and government do piss me off.
