Somewhere there's a line drawn in the sand that says..

You can't give the ones you love a hug.

I wonder what the purpose of this line is?

I know this world would be a lot better place without it.

So many times after losing a friend.

I wish that line had not been there.

Because it has left a void deep in my soul.

Like seeing a painting not finished

Because the artist has passed on.

It's then I wish I had gotten that hug.

I regret not hugging my son more as he was growing up because someone frowned upon it . . . wish I could have a do-over . . .

I do not let anothers rules bind me. Just yesterday I went back to the hospital to say merry merry and thank you to all those that did so much for me. I got hugs from all the nurses and aids and they were even offered by those that are not into hugs. I felt so loved and cared about how wonderful.
