Christmas Decisions

Christmas is a time when people get emotional over family ties, particularly if they have to wear them.

I remember my dad was shopping in a toy store. He said, "That's a terrific train set. I'll buy it."The Clerk said, "Great, I'm sure your son will love it." Dad said, "Maybe you're right. I'll take two."

I agree with your dad. I used to buy train sets for my boys but I also enjoyed them.

Train set story.........when our son was TOO SMALL I purchase a train set and being excited as some do when in early 20's I wasn't using my head, but it did come from the heart in thinking. lol
I honestly don't remember what happen to that nice set, probably given later to someone who was old enough or something....don't remember. For the most part I taught my children as they grew to keep toys nice in containers as such so they would last longer, like puzzle pieces, which they enjoyed for years since doing this practice. Learn constructive play the hard way once when having a house full of guest and all toys and games were spread all over home after that visit. Took me two weeks to find every piece so after that I taught my children what is called DISCIPLINE PLAY and they got one game down at a time and put it up after truly enjoying it. That was a Christmas decision in our home to yours.
