I just tried it and you should have no trouble reading PDFs. Both programs worked after I disabled Java within the programs.
I dumped Adobe Reader almost 2 years ago. Foxit Reader has a smaller footprint, free, and requires less resources--and comes with a plug-in for FF.
I'm not sure of my "real" motivation to switch--I was pissed that Adobe Reader came pre-installed on every computer I ever bought making me assume it was the only game in town.

Thank you for the info. I disabled the java script and hopefully the security glitch will be fixed. Imight try Fox-it.
