That's fun to look at. The first Mac I can remember getting was a Mac lc, then a Mac II but before that a co-worker at another NASA center showed me his new Mac and I wanted one so badly. I forget the name but it was considered their first portable. It had a tiny screen and looked like a small square box and had a handle on top so we could carry it from one office to another!
Thanks Ghostdancer for that list....My first Mac was a Mac clone, but a great little machine. I sold it back in 1999 to a friend and she still has it running.
I'm thinking about buying the Imac now, although I would love another laptop. Mine is already way behind times.

I started out using PCs back in the 80s as part of a job training course and kept on using and buying PCs until 2008, when I finally bought my iMac. Now I'm a convert. Still have the old PC and it creaks along and I hate using it because it needs so much TLC to keep it functioning. I checked it to see if it would work with W7. That was annoying just to have to download a programme to verify that. I doubt I'll be upgrading it to W7 and just keep the XP version until it finally quits.
I did get Office for Mac 2008 because the Word programme is a wee bit better than Pages, but that being said, Word and Entourage crash just like MS programmes are known to do.

My first Mac was a used SE, then a first generation Bondi blue iMac, last a first generation Intel iMac.
My son is telling me that I need to upgrade to the newest coolest one yet, that is supposedly coming out in 2011. I shall wait and see.

That was awesome! Mac's come a longggg way! As has Apple!
I remember an ad in Photography Magazine asking for investors in a 'you-assemble' "thing" called an Apple computer! The Woz and Jobs wrote the ad. Unfortunately, I listened to my Mom and didn't "waste" my hard-earned money. Too bad I didn't invest! Talk about an early retirement with no financial worries! Ah well ..... such is Life!
