PM message type jumping up and down

When I am drafting a PM to someone, in about the fourth or fifth paragraph, the type begins to jump up and down in the screen. This has been going on for a couple of months, and only seems to happen in longer PM's. It makes it difficult to see as I'm typing, but will, indeed, accept the characters. I just have to carefully proof read before sending. Anyone else having this problem? Thoughts?

No problems here. Is it only in PMs on eons? Anything unusual with your email or any other text programs?

I will report it as a "technical" problem, but I'm not sure it is Eons problem, or my computer.

It only happens on PM's. I just entered a fairly lengthy reply in one of my rooms, and it didn't happen there. My email and other text programs seem to be working fine. Again, this only happens in PM's several paragraphs down.

Ahhh, .... so I'm not going crazy! ... (well, that's open for discussion too)

If I recall correctly everyone was having that problem several months ago but the home office guys fixed it and as far as I know, no one has had the problem since. Apparently the problem is back. I haven't typed any long PM's recently, so I haven't experienced it.

This has happened to other folks on other forum sites. Would you happen to be using IE 8 as your browser? Some folks that were having problems a while back were using IE 8. The folks changed to "compatibility mode" and it straightened out the problem. Or you could try a different browser.

Ah, Mimi..your memory is better than mine. Now that you mention it, I remember that the "compatibility view" thing is a cure for many such problems. That very well may have been the fix for the problem that many Eons users were having a few months ago.
