To Skylar
I thought of you last night after I singed off and then I prayed for you. I truly wish you were here so I could put my arms around you and help you through your pain.
God is watching over you and will help you to take one day at a time. In Him, you will find love and peace.
I know christmas if going to be hard for you so surround yourself with family and friends, let the tears show, remember all the happy times you had with your sister and ask "what would she want you to do". She'd want you to miss her but not for long, enjoy this Christmas with some of her favorite foods. One thought I have that may bring you comfort is to write her a letter...tell her how much you miss her, of your love for her and then make plans with her for things you can do through out the coming year. Ask her if she will help you pick your summer clothes, if she will help you through each step of each day.
Take your letter, put in an envelope and put under the tree. She may not be there in body, but she will be with you. When you take down your tree, put your letter in a memory box where you can share events with her through out the year.
Devote your thoughts to the times spent with her, know that she is safe in the arms of Jesus and be with your Mom as she needs your love.
My thoughts, prayers and love is with you....Hugs, Katiee
