I ended up screaming at my television while watching Senator McConnell smuggly state Americans don't want this bill (Healthcare) Later he added Americans don't want single payer.
I AM AN AMERICAN AND I WANT SINGLE PAYER!!!!!!!
I am also a realist and realize we may have to settle for some thing less so if I can't have single payer I want a bill that gets rid of the preexisting condition clause, makes sure everyone can afford whatever health care they need, and is affordable. If the current bill is all we can get its better than what we have now so I WANT IT.
I am not the only American who wants Single Payer. Go to www.healthcare-now.org to find lists of Americans and organizations who want single payer. These include the UAW, the National organization of Social Workers, many medical organizations, and many cities across this country to name a few.
