snow days......

Well here in Northern Michigan we get snow, lots of snow.
It was late arriving this year. Came just two days ago, looks like its here for the duration now. Usually its settled in long before deer season on Nov 15th. Last year it came in October so I was really happy for the reprieve this year. Guess it will be a white Christmas........I know this has nothing to do with UK but thought you may enjoy seeing our winters here............this is the side and front of my house yesterday morning

well we got inside done, and as the snow just got here I am not sure how far I will get with making the hubby go out and decorate now haha......no one was in the mood before the snow came but now, well its cold. He is a whimp and I cant do it. I suggested we put up lights so they can stay all year. That way if I do it right it will be nice in summer on the back deck.......the back deck right now is almost disappeared. Somewhere under all that snow is the deck......thought about putting the lights around there....

So is it winter yet in Michigan?? Good grief, Espirit, your heating bill must be equal
to or greater than my cooling bill in the summer. That is a lot of snow!

Humm...I don't think I'll complain about the long winters in Ohio anymore! No snow in sight yet here, although it's as cold as the dickens! Your pictures are beautiful, though, Espirit.

well me either duh,,,, I did have thoughts of decorating the back deck but now we cant find it....the poodle pee there now as they get lost (well the little one does) out in the fields of snow in the back garden. Got to get some pictures for my poodle group but don't want to go out.

Most of the UK is under between 4 to 6 inches of snow, with more expected overnight.

The problem in the south of England is that we don't know how to cope with it because we seldom see snow.
