I am still here---just swamped with work and after school activities. Seems like I do not have enough time in a day to get everything done.

2 weeks and starting next week I'm envious. We go until the 23rd and get a week (plus a bit to take us into the new year).

Good to hear that everyone's still around. Teachers are the busiest people on Earth! I had not been on Eons for a couple weeks, just too busy with lots of PD, PT conferences, Holiday activities, etc.

Looking forward to a well deserved 2 week break from school!

Still here, come home too pooped to do much. We have 5 more work days, and my list of to do's grows. all 660 of my students made some kind of clay something....Oy Vay
I will try to be more attenive to my spirit and friends. You are a wonderful community, and I do gain enery when I connect with you. Let me survive the week and then I can breathe!

I have to teach full-time until the end of this week, then just one class on Monday and I'm on holiday until Jan. 4. Had to do exams for the college-level students this week, but it wasn't too bad. I am SO lucky to be teaching what I teach - Conversational English - because I don't have to give written exams that I have to take home and grade! I do have to grade the written exams for the State Exams, but that's usually less than 15 essays two or three times a year. Thank God I don't have the take-home workload I did when I taught in the U.S!
