The mini that grew....

At our semi annual (is that right - every other year?) quilt show we auction off mini quilts to benefit and help maintain the Red Mill's vintage quilt collection. Unfortunately this year I was running behind (how unusual) and the mini's were'nt selling well. With a small amount of encouragement from quilter friends I decided to enlarge it, finish it and use it as a holiday table topper. Came out quite nice I think! Many, many thanks to Diane, miniquilter, for her guidance and inspiration!

Most mini-quilts are maxi pains. Anything smaller than a baby quilt is too small. Nice job akc. Lots better than I would have done.

Beautiful, Andrea! I love the bright colors and the borders prints really worked well.

That's a beauty, Andrea! The colors are so rich. How did you do that skinny, skinny sashing? (Oh, and I think it's biennial. Semi-annual means twice a year - heaven forbid!)

Lovely! I like that you pieced the back too.
