I know what you mean. It frosted here last night....and it is snowing right now. We're suppose to have high winds this afternoon. I think I'm gonna hibernate.
You guys are lucky. December is supposed to be cold. Look what I have here. Another year without snow. The Christmas tree looks out of place, I think. :(
You look pretty lucky to me. It stopped snowing at my house and we were left with 50 mile an hour winds. COLLLD!!!
I called Colorado today. My oldest granddaughter answered. It was 4 degrees felt like -16 below. My daughter was shoveling snow from the driveway and my youngest granddaughter was throwing snowballs at her. LOL What a combination. I am now happy with my terrible weather. It's 35 degrees outside right now, not counting wind chill. I think I'm visiting WildEagle. Any one else want go? LOL I just kidding, WildEagle!
Hey, I'm for spending the winter with WildEagle! We can all go and have a great time!
Great. Everyone come visit me in Florida. But I have to warn you. Yesterday was 84. Is that winter? At least we should have in the 60's. That would be nice. I grew up in New Jersey and sometimes I miss the snow.
Southern California used to be so warm. Our high today was 49 degrees. Right now, weather.com says we are at 42 degrees. But my outdoor thermometer says it's 40 degrees on my patio and it's not even 4 PM yet. Brrrrr!
Most of the time 84 would sound rather hot to me but right now I'm going to join in with everyone for a visit - it's been in the teens here night and day for the past week and I'm ready for something a little warmer. They are calling it an Arctic Front, no kidding? I believe them this time.
It's 3:40pm and it's 21 degrees, so no doubt another night of brrrrrrr. My poor older dogs and I waddle around like we're 100 years old. lol
As long as our legs hold out, we deliberately head for the snow, still ski about 20-25 days...and to see the three of our four "kids" who live out west.
Drover seems to thrive in cooler weather. His coat thickens a bit and he sheds less. When in snow, he snouts around and rolls in it.
Fraulein liked the cooler weather also. And I know what you mean about the coat getting thicker.
