Christmas Cards

How do you display your Christmas cards you receive?

Give all your ideas as to how you can have them on display so you and visitors can enjoy them....Hugs, Katiee

Hi Katiee, I purchased a metal decorative gold wreath designed to hold our cards......and has worked out for a number of years now. Seen some just place them in a basket.

MaryLou has what I think is a neat way to display our Christmas cards. As they come in, she puts a little strip of tape at the top and bottom of the card (in the fold) and then sticks them on our front door, our bedroom door and the door into our computer room.

I go with the basket every year but the metal wreath that holds them sounds neat. Smiletu, Do you remember where you found that?

I tape mine all to my fridge - might not sounds very nice but I think it looks just fine.

Years ago one of my boys at school made a card holder out of 2 lengths of wide Christmas ribbon attached to a sprig of artificial holly at the top.You hang it on the wall, door ect. and attach the cards along the length of the ribbon.

Goodness Katiee more than likely a WALLY WORLD (Walmart) purchase a few years back. I am sure many types as this still exist.......after Christmas especially we will find many useful items.
It is surprising how Deal's or Dollar General come up with some useful items for us. Good luck.
That gold wreath also has an angel at the top of it..with ring type holders for each card on it.
I have to invest into yet another small tree after Christmas as my Optic type tree has opticed out...no twinkle left.
The new ornaments I surprised my son with look good but no twinkle...lol
I used that ribbon idea years ago also Regina and it works great...have also taped like your wife wlittle and you Linda. I did finally write up my Christmas Newsletter but have cartridges to refill at Walgreen before I can print them off on decorative Christmas paper. Did you know Walgreen is cheaper than buying new cartridges? Yep.
