Christmas cards..

So inquiring minds want to know. What about you? Do you still mail Christmas cards? Newsletter? Email greetings?
When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, you might want to include the following:
A Recovering American Soldier

c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center

6900 Georgia Avenue,NW

Washington,D.C.

That's a great idea, will do it today. Have already mailed our cards with newsletter.

I agree that is a great Idea and I will add that to my list.

I only mail cards to close family and really close friends along with a newsletter. Others, I will send e-mail cards. It just costs too much to mail anymore. I remember a time when I mailed out 100+ for several years. Just can't afford to do that anymore.

We sent cards with a newsletter to about 30. Mostly family and close friends that are not local.

I don't mail Christmas cards, but I do send email Christmas wishes. I will make an exception and get a special card for an american soldier. I love that idea.

Good idea ... but this is false info ... won't be accepted by the P.O. or by Walter Reed because it could be used in the wrong way.

check the snopes site for another link you can use to find out how to mail cards to soldiers ...

Barb; Thanks for catching this. I don't know why I didn't think to check Snopes. I seemed like like a great idea. Darn it all...
John; Where do you get your freebie calendars? I pick one up at Rite Aid every year unless I decide to splurge and pay for one that has beautiful photography of Oregon..

Tbub- usually my insurance guys, realtors and some of the subs have sent calendars. The best one comes from a surveyor who has done good stuff for us for about 6 years. He retired this last year though. Guess not going to get his anymore.

I'm sending out some postcards that I bought in Dresden last week; other than that, it will be email greetings from me this year to all my U.S. friends and relatives. I used to send cards and letters and photos when I lived in the U.S., but the number dwindled every year.
