i hear ya. i am not doing any this year. i did buy cards. will mail them out. folks are going to have to happy with that.
I really didn't feel like "doing" the holidays the past couple of years. However, in the past few weeks, I feel like I am turning a corner and am really looking forward to the holidays. I never really quit liking the holidays, but didn't feel like doing any shopping or decorating. I am now feeling much more like normal and am really looking forward to the holidays.
Things are definitely better this year!

I'm still debating whether or not I'm up to doing cards this year. Presents are bought but I haven't got anything ready to mail. And it's "too bad, so sad." I also don't do huge dinners any more. Go with what's comfortable.
I did a lot of my shopping on line. I hate going out in the stores. As I also had surgery a few weeks ago(3) I can't drive yet. I have pared down my list as well.

since i hate shopping i get what everybody says, but justgeo..........missing out on the food.....that's awful. i really sympathize with you on that one!
We all can be thankful we are still alive. even if we like S@#$& .
I have 2 samll grandsons ; and that's what keeps me going.
