Will Chase Pit Bulls - a shelter story
A very good friend of mine works at an animal shelter on the East Coast. I got an e-mail from her today sharing the shelter story of the day - too funny not to share!!
"And very hard to believe.
We received a call from a woman. She laughed so hard she could not spit out the reason for her call right away.
After we listened to her giggles she said:
Please come on pick up these two little things. They where chasing my pit bull around in the back yard.
they climbed up a tree when I went out to rescue my dog, and both pit bull chasers jumped right on my shoulders.
Please pick them up.
Hmmmm and what are we supposed to pick up ?
Two Ferrets. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Both of them are resting in our conference room. So far nobody claimed those brave little souls.
But I just know what rescue to call. And I better give them a warning.
