The Road to

Where is the road to being happy? We all have to find it ourselves. We have to work at being happy, make the right decisions, feel safe with God close to you, see the beauty of His work, see the results of His work and share our happiness with others.
I keep thinking of all those that will be alone on Christmas Day and it breaks my heart. Make sure you help anyone you know that's going to be alone...if they won't leave their home, drop off a basket of food with a few goodies. If you know a child that will spend the day watching t.v., see if they can spebd the day with your kids and have a small gift for them.
You can't imagine how happy you'll be when Christmas night comes...Hugs, Katiee

Katiee, I think you might have hit on something when you said "feel safe with God close to you" because - sadly - many people don't. They see Him as something to fear instead of realizing that He is the best friend that they ever could have.

I think part of it is, some can't imagine God sitting next to them 24/7...he too often is viewed as off in the far distance, in heaven, and that is such a long way away....

I found after years of feeling so very alone, The Father was with me all the time. It was he who got me through the bad times, brought me into the light so I could see the road he had laid out for me to walk.

I think you are right Georgia. We often forget that the Holy Spirit is with us at all times. Him, being the third person of the trinity, I am sure He does not like being ignored. I use to have a good habiet of waking up in the morning and saying Good Morning Holy Spirit...
