Okay....aren't these too big to qualify as gadgets? You'd never get me on that ferris wheel....never.
I'm not sure if size matters when it comes to gadgets... (waiting for really bad series of jokes) ...
Too big! Google Chrome couldn't handle it and crashed while trying to watch videos on the page.
I wouldn't mind having one of those big ass tables from Microsoft ...
Ditto on that Ferris Wheel, never get me on it. Smaller is definitely better when it comes to Ferris Wheels! There's one bad joke for you MrScience!!
BC of your name I am sure you are scientifically inclined. Have you heard of the science olympiad in grade to junior high schools? My 9 y/o is going to the SO fair today, her speciality is the egg drop! Big day around here, fun stuff!

Awesome! The egg drop is a classic. We modified it a bit with a catapult so they have to survive liftoff AND landing. The yoke has been on me several times.
That would be fun! During all the practices she never lost and egg!
Yesterday, not only did their egg break during landing, they broke 2 while building their holder! No parents or coaches were allowed in of course, while they were beuidling it. They had straws, rubber bands, popsicle sticks and tape to build it with!! She had fun and was not upset and that's what is important!!

An egg catapult. How come science wasn't fun like that when I was a widdle kiddle in school. I might have actually liked science then.
We call it the "Egg-a-Pult" and many eggs don't survive the massive acceleration, Eggs which do can face a stiff landing. All teams are given the same materials to compete with. Materials usually consist of basic office & kitchen supplies. We decorate the eggs to look like astronauts to make it personal.
