Morning Brakes
As this morning brakes so brightly
I do not take my life so lightly
What a gift to give me learning
It leaves my soul so brightly burning
All I receive from those around me
Opens my eyes I truly can see
The love this world has to give
Every thing for which I live
A seed not planted in the ground
Yet it keeps growing all around
It needs no dirt it grows inside us
I nurture it with little fuss
It is a flower that smells so sweet
And bears a fruit that is unique
It’s nectar is what we call love
A sweetness everyone dreams of.
