Morning everyone--weather man says snow possible for south LA Merry Christmas LOL will not last very long most likely gone as fast as it gets here. People will be in the streets watching it. Hope all have a very good day mine will be spent making a big pot of turkey soup and cornbread for my bunch.

Well it sure is cold enough here to snow. It's a freezing 24. I know the house is cold. I was going to work on the Christmas tree this morning, but maybe I should work on a double batch of pumpkin bread instead. That would warm the kitchen up at least.

Mmmm turkey soup sounds good. I'm going to make some chili for lunch today and for dinner I'm making cinnamon apple pork tenderloin. Boy is it good. I haven't made it in awhile. Our butcher yesterday had a bunch of buy one get one free so we got 2 of these loin roasts. The grandkids like it best when I slice them up and fry them like pork chops - course they are the same as boneless chops. Last time we had them that way Tom made schnitzle with part of them.

Great, now which one of you is coming to bake in my kitchen so it smells all spicy and nice? I was going to make a big pot of chili - but nothing but a can of tomatoes and can of pintos.

For our chili I use chili beans and tomato sauce with my hamburger and onion. Turns out pretty good. Might make it kind of thick and use frito scoops to dip the soup. Or I could put some velveeta in it. I'm not sure how we are going to have it. Good luck with yours. Sounds like you need to raid our cupboard a bit! Come on over I've got sacks.

LOL. Yep, I don't think I'm making chili today. I always have the dilemma of how to eat it - frito pie, walking taco style - which is similar to frito pie, with shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa and sour cream added, or just plain chili with some ketchup and crackers and a very tall, very cold glass of milk with however.

Talk about aromas from kitchen I am baking oatmeal cranberry cookies they smell wonderful. Soup is gently bubbling, will wait a bit on the cornbread. Time to run timer just dinged
