Thanks everyone...............

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the Botanical Gardens.
Tuesday was a beautiful day and there was hardly anyone at the Train Show. That also includes no munchkins running around, no strollers. I was free to take 3-1/2 rolls of pictures. It was glorious. All the exhibits that the trains run in front of, run through, run around, are made from tree bark, fungi, flower petals, stems. I became Ashton Kusher and started taking closeups of the architecture. The staff was dressed up in conductors uniforms. Afterwards we walked to the Gingerbread Adventures and as we walked we found the Gift Shop where I purchased a book about the exhibit and a book of postcards of the different buildings. Trust me they will not be used. We saw the decorated tree and then we went to the Gingerbread Adventure. We remembered it as a bunch of houses meant for munchkins only. This year they had detours for the kids to be occupied and they used pinecones of all sizes, christmas balls of all colors and sizes and other tree parts to make overgrown 7' long worms, large bugs. Boy I hope these pictures come out.
We then went home and back out for dinner at the Italian restaurant across the street. Great food. We were the first to arrive, almost like we had the place to ourselves. But best of all, my cheesecake was free. Birthdays do have their privileges.

Does anyone eat clementines? They are delicious and I could eat 6 at one sitting. They are from Spain, peeling them is fun and you don't get squirted with juice. If you haven't tried them, please do. You can only find them at this time of year.

Well, I believe my Celtics have won their game against San Antonio. Now on to root for my Cowboys on Sunday against the Giants. My poor Patriots never stood a chance against the New Orleans Saints. It was horrible to watch.

Your trip to the botanical gardens sounds totally delightful! I would have loved that...what a wonderful way to spend your birthday. I am very happy that you had such a nice one!I hope those pictures come out!

I do love clementines...not sure if they are more like a mndarin orange or a tangerine...but they are good, and soooo juicy!
