At my age, ,I am glad i still have hair.
I do nothing but wash my hair daily, and although that goes against what a lot of folks do, it has worked for me.
In fact my hair grows faster than the dye I put on (lol)
I WILL DEFINITELY try it, even though my has is the opposite of fine.
I have baby fine hair, as we know it becomes finer and thinner as we age. Lotion never helped me then nor now. smile. Lotion on my skin doesn't help in the winter months. But, vaseline is my skin protecter. :)
Mr. Jersey... you are funny! Your post is why I have not quite decided yet to cover my gray hairs. LOL
Hi, everyone... sorry I've been gone for a looooooong time, but I do have an excuse -- been finishing up two novels.
Anyway... I have fine hair also, but I learned years ago that wearing my hair in locks was the best for soft-as-cotton-and-just-as-porous hair (I wear Sisterlocks... growing my second set now).
Hi----Yes I use to use vaseline on me during the winter....I had to stop using it; cause it makes such a mess of my tub when I take a bath....smile....plus vaseline attracts dirt and clog my pores....so now I am using the body lotion with cream in it....it is a "dollar general" brand....and it works just as good as the Vaseline intensive care lotion....you can always try it and if it do not work for you...you can always try some thing else.....and yes, I use to use the vaseline year round....I use the body lotion on the ends of my hair cause my curls stay longer....put the lotion on the ends of my hair before I use the "sponge" rollers....plus I sometimes don't have to roll my hair every night when I put the lotion on the ends of my hair...smile.
Hi---again about the product that you can buy at dollar general store----a correction: it is petroluem jelly in a creme form....it comes in a white tube....yes,. it is a "dollar General " store brand....try it....have a great weekend....
