She will hardly open her eyes. Her pupils have been fully dialated (at least it looks that way to me) for a couple of weeks. I get paid tomorrow and she's going to the vet first thing in the morning.

The vet somehow got her pupils to constict somewhat so you can see the blue again. He hopes it's some sort of allergen and gave me some eye drops. He also thinks her cough is from sinus drainage related to the eye weepiness. If the drops don't work in a week or so, he said we'll try something for glaucoma to see if that helps. It's just a guessing game, apparently, but there seems to be no vision loss..

Well, no vision loss is good news. Poor baby - do you think s/he has the flu? I heard there was a shot out for dogs so they don't get the flu. Probably the same for cats, too.

The vet thinks it's environmental. I would think if she's got the flu then Clara would have it too after this long. I can't really intelligently answer as I truly know nothing of cat flu.

The beginning of that round of medicine was great for her, but I misplaced the vial. I've had the flu over the weekend and no way to get out to replace it. I'm going to replace it today. She needs it and she felt so much better while using it. I'll report more after she's back on the med a few more days.
