I hope that's not true. That story has been played to death. But didn't Ryder's mother tell someone to target Michael and Lauren?

If you read any of my post I mentioned that I thought Shelia was behind the sudden attack on Lauren. They have history and I thought they might bring out of the tombs to irritate her again. The writers are sometime so predictable in Genoa City especially with on-going, never murder attempts. HA HA! !!

Yes, I read that Kimberlin Brown is coming back next year as Sheila. I really don't like it when the writers resurrect the dead. Sheila was SHOT and killed by Lauren. Sheila had had plastic surgery to look like Phyliss and Lauren had a hard time deciding which "Phyliss" to shoot, but she shot the right one. Now...are the writers going to try to get us to believe that Sheila is Ryder's mother??? How will they explain who Lauren shot? Sheila also had been killed earlier and confirmed dead by Paul, but we all know how unreliable Paul can be! It is hard for me to remember when Sheila first came on Y & R. She stole Lauren's son, Scottie. Didn't Sheila have a problem where she couldn't conceive a child back then? Or maybe that is just wishful thinking on my part that someone so evil would not be able to procreate! In any case, just what will it take to kill Sheila? I guess a silver bullet wouldn't be enough, so maybe we could get Lauren to drive a stake through her heart during a full moon???

She faked a pregnancy because she had the hots for Lauren's boyfriend Dr. Scott (something). Lauren really was pregnant but Sheila had Scott so stole Lauren's baby, and switched another baby to Lauren. That babt died (sound familiar???), it finally came out that Scotty was Lauren's and not Sheila's. I think that's how the annomosity began, gee, that was a long time ago, and my some-timers kicks in occassionally. If anyone remembers better, jump in, please.
Sheila has died and resurrected so many times, not only on Y&R but they did the same thing with her on B&B. No actor is that good, and I never did see what they saw in her. (Her whistles whenever she said an SSS word drove me nuts! ) Why they kept bringing her back is beyond me. One more time is two times too many for me to watch. Looks like I'll be fast forwardng again.

It was Dr. Scott Banning, I think. He had had an affair with Sheila at the same time he was seeing Lauren. Sheila was a nurse and she stole a baby from the hospital to give to Lauren and she kept Lauren's baby for herself. Sheila faked her pregnancy and Sheila wanted Dr. Banning to think that baby Scottie was their baby. I think Dr. Banning married Sheila because he thought she was pregnant. Hmmm, sounds a little like the baby switch that we just had on Days of Our Lives. I don't watch B & B so I didn't know about Sheila's resurrections there. Sheila had claimed she was pregnant with Dr. Banning's baby so that he would marry Sheila and Lauren ended up pregnant, alone, and having crazy Sheila trying to kill her & Sheila's mother by burning them in a farmhouse, I think??? That was a long time ago and I have slept a few nights since then! LOL Oh and wasn't there a birthmark on Lauren's baby that Sheila had removed so that Lauren wouldn't recognize him.

I, too, remember Sheila's mother's house burning down. Sheila tied up both her mother and Lauren, then turned on the gas and set fire to the house. Paul rode in just in time to save Lauren and I think Sheila supposedly was killed in the fire. (I think her mother was too). Don't remember if there was no body, but for some reason Lauren always thought Sheila was alive so had her son raised secretly in Canada to keep him safe.

I am bummed. Do not want another Sheila story. So boring and overused. Can't the writers come up with something more innovative and new! I for one am going to be unhapppy when this story line begins to unfold. Enough of Sheila already. Get a new villain to torment Lauren. Or just leave poor Lauren alone!

It's time for Lauren to have a story; afterall, the character's been dormant almost to the point of boring ever since her abduction after she married Michael. I'm sure it's her turn to be front and center. Wouldn't want to see an "affair" story though, that show needs a good strong relationship presence, and the affair scenario is way too overplayed on this show.

Maybe her son is finally showing resentment for being shipped off since he was small and exacting his revenge, or her self rightous mother, or Gina for ruining her almost-marriage to her father.

btw.... since her company, Fenmore's is a world wide upscale department store, how can she spend all her time running a small satelite boutique set up in another company's basement????

jannie I believe that her boutique is set up on the first floor of the main Fenmore's Department store. She just runs the boutique because that is her baby. I may be wrong, but I do not ever recall Fenmore's going out of business! Her son adores her and Gina is one of the sweetest people in GC! Anyone back me up on Fenmore's or did I totally miss the demise of this great store!
