Isn't she just 24 or 25? The hubris of youth. Don't we all remember when we thought we knew everything? She'll grow up, too.

Yeah, I knew everything at 16...by the time I was 24 I had been proven wrong enough to know better. The hubris of youth is exactly why I joined Eons!
She once wrote in a blog that she knew what it was to do hard work. She was a Candy Striper in high school. I'm sure taking those flowers to patients and sitting and talking to them was brutal.
Well, yeah...good thing she didn't have to pass out magazines & books, she might have had to make a decision...like what do you recommend!
Sorry I am a bit offended by how sarcastic and maybe even mean responders are being to this young lady. Her book is about the campaign and her experience working for her father when he ran for President. I don't plan to read it although I do find her to be one of the more thinking and reasonable Republicans emerging. However, she did have experience working this campaign as a candidates' daughter and that means she has experience that few of us will ever have and may have some things that will be valuable to others our age and her age.
Sorry...didn't mean to offend since I don't get offended by things not directed at me & that don't hurt anybody. But, you are right...I didn't read her book & frankly, have no idea who she is. I was responding to the candy stipper comment & surely didn't see any offense there. I can't say I do have any experience as a candidates daughter or a campaign other than the campaign for the Sheriff in San Diego & if I ever do, I'll be sure to read her book for tips.
What I am curious about is what Meghan thinks of the snow queen.
Meghan says and does some stupid stuff. Her blog at The Daily Beast is often trivial, but every once in awhile she posts some no nonsense things that the GOP might want to address.

Sorry Phil. Meghan McCain offends me. The Happy Hooker had experiences I'll never have, but she's not on a par with Hunter Thompson either.
Some examples of Meghan's deathless prose:
βOn the night my father accepted his nomination for president, I wore a giant Madonna ponytail extension (circa her Vogue tour)β much to the dismay of some of the campaign advisers, I might add.β
"And for the record, Senator Lieberman is now an even greater source of inspiration and comfort to me in politics."

I think it would be interesting if his daughter from his first marriage put in her two cents about all this crap.
Well, it appears I now have more to go on than the candy striper thing...which, by the way, if you put something like that in print, expect to be commented on. WOW! Who would DARE critize her? She certainly seems to have a lot to teach women our age, huh? Who IS she anyway?
