Watched My LIfe in Ruins over the holiday. It was a heartwarming movie. It stars the same woman who wrote My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The scenery is beautiful and the story line light and easy to watch. I recommend this movie to all who enjoy a light hearted romance. And my husband even enjoyed it! (So it must be not too much of a chick flick!)

Nia Vardalis is adorable. I liked this film too. But, she is really too talented and personable to be doing just Greek movies. I saw "I Hate Valentine's Day" last week, and the script was so terrible, I took it back without finishing it. Her leading man was the same one as in Greek Wedding (He played the radio man in Northern Exposure). , (John Corbett) So, there was no excuse for such a bad movie...two talented, nice looking leading actors, and a ho hum stupid script.
