Shopping day
With the kids back in school today, Jennifer and I headed out early for a day of shopping. First we went to Walgreen's with my camera card and found a picture of the three kids that was acceptable and got the Christmas cards made. Then to Border's to pick up a couple of gifts and have a cup of coffee. Then to this huge outlet mall called Great Lakes Crossing then to Target and finally to a store called Always Christmas where I bought a bunch of ornaments. Then we raced to her house to get the presents wrapped before the kids got home form school. I had envisioned her and I having a nice leisurely lunch while we were out but it was not to be. We got a lot accomplished adn i feel a lot better about Christmas now. I may still pick up a couple of things and mail them but I feel like I have a handle on the whole thing. I go home tomorrow and then I have 2 more days off from work to get my own tree out and decorated. I just hope I don't run into any snow on the way home.
