any one know of any sites like craigs list where i can put in free ads for room mates and to put in a company.

It is so easy to go to craig's list. I have a number of items on there. First type in craigs list. Click on your location. Then look for the listing you want. If you have any questions PM me and I will try to help.

CHeck out Yahoo groups...along the lines of FreeCycle. I think there's one similar to CL.

The post office, grocery store and cimmunity center all sometimes have boards to post a card.

I'm thinking the same as trish - some grocery stores have bulletin boards and they let you post those kinds of ads. Also, do you have a local Buyers Guide type of paper? They usually cost way less to advertise than the "big papers". Call the Salvation Army and Social Services to find out if they have a list of people that they know are in need of housing or a roommate. Also local community colleges (tech schools) may have lists or bulletin boards.

When my son started looking for a place and thought he needed a roommate, we thought of starting up a web-based roommate locator service. There are probably many out there but they will cost to join.

am a mod for freecycle, this kinds of ads are not allowed. went to the bubbler.com but can not see how to post the ads i want to put in.

one is to share a house and one is a business i want to advertise for a friend. trying to help people out.
